Tennis Elbow

I met Christine while looking for a treatment that would get rid of an overuse sports injury in my elbow. I had tried so many different styles of treatments before coming to her and did not see any improvement.
Acupuncture was one of the only things that helped a nagging injury.  The care and attention she gave me with each treatment, along with my injury improving had me coming regularly even after the injury had healed.  Christine’s treatments also have helped to create balance in my life in so many ways from stress, hormonal balance, helping with sleep and much more.  I really look forward to seeing Christine and receiving her treatments.  I am so grateful for her help, what she brings to each treatment and how much she has helped me.

Rebuilding after miscarriage

peaceful
The ability to become pregnant is a wonderful gift, but to have it suddenly taken away can be traumatic.  Having a miscarriage can be both physically and emotionally draining, and when it comes to having recurrent miscarriages, the body becomes both physically and emotionally exhausted.

Prepping for pregnancy

birth_control

Are you thinking of having a bundle of joy any time soon? If so, it is important to take care of yourself now so that you and baby are healthy and happy! Many times, people come off their birth control pills/patch/ring expecting to conceive right away. If not then, then at least in the few months that follow. Some women are fortunate enough to have no issues making the transition from hormonal birth control to doing everything on their own smoothly and soundly. Others however need a little more adjustment time. This is actually an important time to have because bringing your body into balance sometimes takes time.

Stress can lead to heart disease in women

Women_and_heart
Women tend to be natural care givers which often gets misconstrued with "responsible for everything on earth".  Between children, relationships, career, home, errands and so on, it is hard to find that balance that brings us out of that frenzied state, and into our own state of relaxation.  Heart disease is the number one killer among women.  It is important to remember that taking care of yourself is just as important as taking care of everyone and everything else!

Go,go,go!

Stress
Its official, its nearing the end of the year. With that comes traveling, many get togethers, cooking and over eating, trying to wrap things up and juggling work and family. Stress is an understatement! For many of us who already have one million things to do, the end of the year just means more stress. If we don't take a break and we continue with the go, go, go lifestyle, we can end up paying the price. Our body aches, we are fatigued and we just can't seem to recoup. It is important to be able to take a break because if we don't, we risk “adrenal fatigue”. If you haven't heard of this condition, you will. Its becoming more and more of an issue with our high stress lifestyle.
