 With the convenience of fast food restaurants and pre-packaged foods, it is becoming harder to eat fresh foods and get all the nutrients that we ought to get. While this is detrimental to our health, it is also very detrimental to the chances of getting pregnant. When our bodies are not nourished and we are lacking vital essentials, it does not become rocket science as to why we experience health problems- including infertility.

I was reading a book, “The infertility Cure” by Randine Lewis, PH.D., pg.88, on fertility and I came across a great massage that increases blood flow to the pelvic area. By doing so, the chances for becoming pregnant may increase because it provides nourishment to the uterus and ovaries. It was suggested in the book to have your partner assist. It might be easier to have someone else do it, plus it then involves both of you.

In the past couple of weeks I've had several inquiries on acupuncture in the treatment of addiction.

Kicking a habit is never easy no matter what kind of therapy is used. Chinese medicine is helpful and is definitely worth checking out. Smoking cessation is probably one of the more common addictions treated with Chinese medicine, but that does not exclude other addictions like alcohol or drugs.
